Description

The biking route of the central part of the island is designated to experienced cyclists because of some technically demanding parts, it begins in Trogir port and after crossing the bridge moving to the right.

We drive along the main road in direction of the Trogir shipyard to the bay of Toć, and then we continue along the coast to the bay of Racetinovac where we can see the remains of the summer mansion of the family Raccetin, devoted to St. Anthony in 1630.

From Racetinovac rising up to the main road we will ride to the bay Tatinja where we join a very attractive coastal road that leads to the bay of Movarštica. To discover another hidden secret of Ciovo, we continue along the coast to the beautiful beaches of the bay of Mala Draga, where we can freshen up.

On the same road back to Okrug Gornji and then right along the paved road in the direction of Žedno. In the village center on the left the church of Blessed John from Trogir and the sign for the church of St. Mauro.

We follow the forest path through the macchia and the olive groves, with more caution and technical skills, and then we come to the oldest church on the island – the church of St. Mauro from the 4th century. On the way back we pass again through Žedno and continue in the direction of the Okrug to a sharp left curvature where we turn left onto a gravel road that descend to Trogir waterfront.
