Description

You will visit the beautiful, small island of Biševo. This small island hides the most interesting natural phenomenon in the Adriatic Sea, the so-called Blue Cave, a waterlogged sea cave located in a small bay called Balun (Ball in the local dialect). The cave was formed by the wave action of the sea, as sea water eroded the limestone rock of which the whole island of Biševo is composed. The cave itself is 24 meters long, 10–12 metres deep and up to 15 metres high, while the entrance to it measures 1.5 metres high and 2.5 metres wide.

After visiting the Blue Cave, we cruise towards the bay of Stiniva. Stiniva is undoubtedly one of the most picturesque beaches on the Vis island and in Croatia. This tiny shingle beach, situated at southern shores of the island is framed by the iconic tall cliffs cut deep into the narrow bay. This unspoiled south coast of the island is opened to high seas where erosion formed this beautiful landscape. Since the 1960s the whole Stiniva bay is a protected significant landscape with the intention to preserve its original look and feel.

Then, along the southern part of the island of Vis you will stop in the blue lagoon of the island of Budikovac for snorkelling. From the island of Budikovac, you will move to the Pakleni islands. Pakleni islands would literally be translated as Hell Islands. It often amuses, and sometimes even worries people when they hear the translation. But the explanation is very simple and benign. It derives originally from an archaic word paklina. The meaning of that word is tar, and it refers to the pine resin once used to coat ships.

Paklenjaci are a gorgeous chain of 21 wooded islets with a crystal clear water, hidden beaches & lush tropical gardens. The main island of Sveti Klement is also called the Big Island. It has 3 settlements among which is Palmižana – the most popular touristic marina resort.

Our last destination is the famous town Hvar on the island Hvar, one of the most beautiful ports in the world. It is also known as the sunniest island in Croatia.
