House rules & manual!

Meet & great. Check-in instructions.

The check-in time is from 4PM on the day of arrival.

Let us know your arrival time in advance. ✉️Message us at least 1h before and confirm it. It is very important to get us informed as we may need up to 1h to get to the house. This is our mobile phone +385 91 9222 330.

If you are arriving earlier than 4PM, please let us know – if we do not have any departing guests, we may be able to accommodate you. Alternatively, we suggest you stopping in Trogir old town for lunch. If you need to store your bags, you are very welcome in our office in Trogir.

Documents registration & GDPR
We kindly ask you to prepare the passports/IDs of all the guests, to show them at the check-in.

A mandatory law – General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requires every guest to present a valid government ID upon check-in, persons other than registered guests are restricted from the apartment. As of 25.05.2018., we are obliged to inform you that when placing a reservation and checking into your booked accommodation you agree to present your personal identification documents, i.e. submit your personal data.

The personal data required are: first and last name, type and number of your personal identification document, gender, state and address of residence, with date of birth and citizenship.

Data is collected only for evidence of tourists in the Information System of Tourist Boards of the Republic of Croatia – eVisitor (Law on sojourn tax, National Gazette 152/08). The personal data is collected for statistic processing and is used by the Tourist boards, public authorities and Ministries relating to this procedure. List of departments we must provide your personal data to are the Ministry of tourism and Tourist inspection, Ministry of internal affairs and Ministry of finances – Customs authorities. Each unauthorized usage, publication, change, processing, reproduction, distribution, recording or assignment or any other form of unauthorized usage of such personal data is strictly prohibited. If you can not or do not want to provide us your information for any reason, we are not authorized to provide you accommodation service.

The App we are using to check you into the system is scanning the machine-readable zone on your document and collecting the data there available.

Passport 1

Transfer from & to the airport.

We organize transfers to Villa Avalon from any airport, marina, or port (& viceversa).
The most common transfer is from Split airport to the Villa & back. The service is available 24/7 and it costs 65€ for up to 8 people (surcharge of 6 € if landing before 6AM or after 10PM). The prices are one-way.
To order your transfer please provide the following information.

Air Conditioning
The air conditioning is always on and it is set on the optimal temperature to guarantee ideal conditions. There’s no need to change any setting, you can just turn on and off. When in use, please make sure all the windows and door are closed, otherwise it will not work properly. If you experience any issues with the heating / air conditioning, please contact us. In each bathroom there is floor heating available.  Please let’s take care of our planet :earth_americas: together: don’t regulate the temperature below the optimal and close the windows when the aircon is in use. Thank you. 

TV System

The remote controls for the TVs are on the dresser in each room and next to the TV in the living room. There is another TV in the game room which is connected to the Play Station. All the TV are smart TVs and have satellite channels.

Washing machine & tumble dryer
The washing machine and tumble dryer are situated in the laundry room on the east side of the house. Feel free to use them as you see fit. Eco friendly washing liquids are provided.

Pool rules!

The pool is serviced once a week.

  • The pool are is under 24h video surveillance.
  • The swimming pool is NOT warded: its use is at your own risk.
  • Children can enter the water only under the supervision of parents or relatives.
  • Pets cannot enter the pool.
  • It is compulsory to shower prior entering the water.
  • While sunbathing the use of a towel on the sun-bed is compulsory, to avoid damages or spots due to sweat, sun creams and lotions.
  • While using the outdoor shower you are kindly requested to minimize water consumption.
  • Under the outdoor shower and in the swimming pool it is absolutely forbidden to rinse or wash towels and any piece of clothing. The use of soap, bath foam, shampoo, and detergents is also strictly forbidden, as well as the use of hair colors.
  • It is moreover strictly forbidden running at the border of the pool, jumping into the water, pushing people and throwing objects into the pool, spitting, especially in the water
  • No food or drink is allowed in the pool area and in the water.
  • Glass and ceramic containers (bottles, glasses, baby bottles etc.) are not allowedneither in the pool area nor in the water.
  • Please avoid disturbing the neighborhood shouting or playing.
  • Any pollution or contamination of water, equipment and/or facilities is strictly forbidden.
  • Please treat the pool area, equipment and facilities with care. In case of improper use, the visitor is liable for the resulting damages.

Kitchen rules!

  • Please rinse the dishes before them in the dishwasher
  • Please all food waste in the food waste bins provided.
  • Tea, coffee and all essentials are provided on a complimentary basis.
  • Washing up liquid and dishwasher tabs are eco friendly
  • Please let us know if something is broken or not working
  • Eco friendly cleaning products are available in the storage at the entrance

Bathroom amenities provided!

Our provided essentials will be found in each bathroom.

We provide per guest:

  • a face towel, a hand towel & a shower towel
  • a pool/beach towel, a bathrobe

Here’s the list of other essentials:

  • hand soap*
  • biodegradable cotton pads & ear sticks produced in Croatia
  • 3in1 face, body & hair soap*
  • body lotion*
  • 100% recycled eco friendly toilet paper

*These products are from the Croatian brand “Biobaza”.  Biobaza products are adapted to sensitive skin because there are no preservatives, irritants, artificial fragrances (perfumes) or colors. They have at least 96% natural. They are not are not tested on animals and they do not contain ingredients tested on animals. They do not contain genetically modified organisms and are not produced using genetic engineering techniques.

Recycling is compulsory!

We are providing you the following set of bags:

  • yellow bag for plastic
  • purple bag for tetra Pak
  • blue bag for paper
  • green bag for glass

Under the sink there are bins for all the other waste except the one which has to be stored in the apposite bags. This waste must be emptied in the green bin outside the house.

In high season (June, July, August, September), the waste is collected everyday except Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 5AM – please make sure to empty your bins under the sink the night before and to put the bin on a visible spot from the street.

The recycling bags, are collected on Wednesday and Friday. They must be put next to the green bin. Please make sure to do that the night before.

In the storage room at the entrance there are two boxes for drink cans, plastic bottles and glass bottles. This waste will be handled at the changeover of guests by our maids.

Safety info & rules!

Quiet Times
We are in a residential community and, although this is a holiday destination, it’s home to many people. As such we ask that you respect their privacy and their right to a peaceful existence! Specifically, between the hours of 11pm and 8am noise should be kept to a minimum.

Smoking Policy
Smoking is forbidden inside the house. Feel free to smoke outdoor but remember to keep the area clean and free from cigarette butts!

Pets
Although we love animals, pets are not allowed. The only exceptions are certified service dogs.

Safety Information
Dial +385 112 for any kind of emergency in Croatia, regardless of whether your need an ambulance, the police or the fire brigade. Your call will be dealt with as appropriate. This number works from both landlines and mobile phones.

Check-out Time
Check out is 10am. Should you wish to leave later than this please contact us beforehand. If we have guests arriving it will be tricky, but we can try!

Check-out Process
You’ve hopefully had a relaxing stay! But, before you leave, we would appreciate if you could do the following:

  1. Run the dishwasher (if there is any) with any final dirty plates, etc.
  2. Ensure all windows are closed
  3. No need to clean the room/apartment but please try to leave everything tidy
  4. Please throw the garbage before checking out from the property.
  5. Leave the keys on the dining table & close the door.
