Description
After 25 km from Split and Makarska, the town Omiš, a picturesque of the pirates’ origin could be reached. It is situated at the source of the river Cetina and ander slopes of the mountains Mosor and Biokovo. As such, it offers many different activities in the nature starting from walking, cycling, canoeing, free climbing, canoeing, kayaking and rafting.
Rafting is a discipline specially designed for the adventurers. It requires physical strehgth, strong willpower and swimming skills to raft down the foaming wild river.
By obeying skipper’s instructions on how, when and how hard you need to paddle, or when do you have to throw yourself at the raft and hold tight, you will experience an adventure tour that will stay in your memory for long time.
The use of wooden logs for cargo transportation had an extensive tradition in the world as well as at some rivers within our territory.
However, the modern rafting (the first inflate rafts were used by the army) is one of the most recent activities which made the unreachable areas familiar to the athletes , those interested in recreation and to the tourists.
Rafting is the most significant activity of the active vacation. Regardless the fact that rafting is a sport it is also a movement meant to preserve the rivers and nature in general. Rafting along wild rivers is becoming widespread among people since one does not need to be a professional athlete as to participate in it. You could be just a simple tourist eager for excitement since every single crew is very well equipped and accompanied by an experienced guide. The guides provide security to the crew as they are familiar with the potential risks and obstacles that might occur in the course of the route.

- 11 km of the river
- difficulty level: easy
- 8 persons per boat
- Full certified equipment
- Professional assistance
- Insurance
- What to bring: T-shirt, bathing suit, towel, sports shoes, extra clothes and shoes you will put on after the trip.
- Minimum age: The rafting trip class I-III is appropriate for children (we have experience with the ages of 3 – 85 DURING THE SUMMER PERIOD ) . But it’s best if you judge by yourself how long your child can sit in a raft and behave for 3 hours on the river. However, we don’t recommend children under 7 years to participate.
- In case of a too high water level this part of the river is too dangerous because of the big number of steaniers (a big part of the river flowes through the wood). In that case we offer a alternative descent on the upper flow with start at Čikota Lađa and finish at Blato na Cetini. This part of the river, which is too shallow to enjoy during the usual water level, is very interesting during the higher water level (class III).
- Previous experience is not required and you don’t need to be a proficient swimmer.
